About Therapy
Family is tremendously important to me, and being available to spend time with them while also continuing my work has been my dream. I believe e-therapy is the perfect solution for me and, perhaps, also for you. If, like me, you need to or prefer to be home, but also need to tend to your personal problems and growth, we have the opportunity to be partners in a very mutually beneficial relationship. Of course, you don't have to be a stay-at-home mom or single parent to enjoy the benefits of e-therapy. Anyone with a crazy schedule, or transportation or physical limitations can benefit from therapy brought directly to you.
Overall, therapy provides a comfortable, non-judgmental setting in which you can vent your frustrations about anything and everything. In return, you receive support, understanding, empathy and counsel on how to potentially improve your situation.
Sometimes we struggle with feelings and issues that we know our loving family and friends simply aren’t equipped to handle. As a trained therapist, I have the tools to help you. Nothing is too horrible or embarrassing to share — this is your time, your space.
Together, we will talk through your concerns and collaborate on effective ways to bring about the change you want and need. There are many ways in which this can happen, and each session is tailored specifically to your needs, your personality and your life.

About Me

I am a CA licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with years of experience working with women, couples, families and teenagers. I have worked in many settings, including an outpatient psychiatric clinic and a residential eating disorder treatment center. I currently see clients in my private practice in Encinitas, CA. I went to graduate school at Chapman University, and earned my undergraduate degree from Point Loma Nazarene University.
Personally, I have a strong faith in God, and this perspective of spirituality infuses my personal life, as well as my approach to therapy. Of course, I respect all religious (or spiritual) backgrounds and beliefs, and believe it is an incredibly healing aspect in any therapy when you can more fully embrace and connect with it.
I care deeply about my clients and sincerely enjoy learning about them and their lives. I consider it a tremendous privilege to be able to celebrate successes and mourn losses with them. Ultimately, my desire is to equip my clients with the tools they need to manage their own feelings and issues more effectively, allowing them to experience real joy and fulfilment in their relationships and lives.
I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your journey!
