About Therapy
I find that
even though our society has evolved to be less judgmental and more accepting in general, a terrible
misunderstanding and stigma about therapy remains. “It’s not like I’m crazy or anything!” “My problems aren’t that bad!” I hear statements like these
more often than you might expect.
However, therapy is not the sole domain of the clinically insane. Today’s therapy
provides a comfortable, non-judgmental, impartial setting in which you can vent
your frustrations about anything and everything. In return, you receive support,
understanding, empathy and counsel on how to potentially improve your
situation.
Sometimes we
struggle with feelings and issues that we know our loving family and friends
simply aren’t equipped to handle. As a trained therapist, I have the tools to
help you. Nothing is too horrible or embarrassing to share—this is your time, your space. Remember, I am here to serve you!
Together, we
will talk through your concerns and collaborate on effective ways to bring
about the change you want and need. There are many ways in which this can
happen, and each session is tailored specifically to your needs, your
personality and your life.
Issues we
might discuss include:

I do care
deeply about my clients and sincerely enjoy learning about them and their
lives. I consider it a tremendous privilege to be able to celebrate successes
and mourn losses with them. Ultimately, my desire is to equip my clients with
the tools they need to manage their own feelings and issues more effectively,
creating space for joy and fulfillment in their relationships and lives.
I look forward
to meeting you and joining you on your journey!
